History:

• Originally part of the historic Hartbeespoort farm owned by H.W. Struben.
• Donated to the City Council of Pretoria in 1973 to serve as a public open space.
• The Bronberg ecosystem was declared critically endangered in 2011.
• Officially proclaimed the Faerie Glen Nature Reserve in 2014, with wildlife such as impala, red hartebeest, and zebra introduced.
• Features archaeological elements from the Stone Age and Iron Age.
